In order to apply for LEADER funding you must have a project within one of Northern Lincolnshire’s rural areas that meets at least one of the following Local Action Group outcomes: -

• Providing/ increasing access to basic services for the rural population
• Delivering village renewal and development
• Increasing tourism through conserving and upgrading rural heritage

You can apply to the Northern Lincolnshire LEADER programme if you are a: -

• Voluntary or community organisation
• Parish or town council
• Charity
• Public sector organisation
• Other not- for-profit organisations

However we are unable to fund: -

• Private businesses and companies
• Social enterprises
• Individuals and sole-traders

To access LEADER funding projects must also be able to provide at least 50% of the project costs either from their own funds or from other external sources. Ideally LEADER funding should be used to cover capital costs rather than ongoing revenue costs.
