The first project to receive funding from the LEADER programme was the creation of a Northern Lincolnshire Rural Food Directory.

The purpose of the food directory is to promote rural food-related businesses to local people; companies and visitors to enable them to easily source locally produced foods.

More than 8,000 copies of the directory have already been distributed to local residents, visitors and businesses to help promote the buy local message.
