| Who are the LAG |
The Northern Lincolnshire Rural Local Action Group, or LAG, brings together relevant public, private and voluntary sector organisations and individuals to help influence and shape rural development in Northern Lincolnshire. A local development strategy (LDS) has been put together by the group that outlines how the group will work over the coming years. The group started in 2007 and has received significant support from North and North East Lincolnshire Council throughout this time. In addition various other local organisations have been heavily involved in its development. This includes Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire (VANEL), Humber and Wolds Rural, Community Council (HWRCC), North and North East Lincolnshire Local Strategic Partnerships (LSP) and Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire (VANL). Membership of the LAG is intended to be flexible to reflect changing needs. The list below shows some of the current members of the LAG: -
The LAG meets on a regular basis and consists of different sub groups that carry out a variety of tasks; this includes deciding which local projects receive funding from the LEADER program. To help make sure the LAG remains in touch with local communities we are always looking for new people to join us. To learn more about some of the existing LAG members visit ‘meet the LAG’.
